Oh... Sweating a little... Well, basically all that means is that we're a group based on the history and characters of the comic books(and the MCU), and not the cartoon series counterparts.

Eh...Marvel Cinematic Universe. Basically any marvel movie that's actually been released by Marvel...So that's Iron Man 1,2,3 Thor 1,2 Captain America, Incredible Hulk, and Avengers.

...Yes, Spider-man is a marvel character, and yes, the Amazing Spider-man is a marvel movie. However, that being said, I'm talking about films that have been released by Marvel Studios. Amazing Spider-man was created by Sony, so that doesn't fit within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is a difference. Same goes for the X-men and Fantastic Four. Owned by Fox, therefore they don't belong in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
