Tools of the Trade: Fine liner, Daler Rowney watercolour papers and pans, and Daler Rowney brushes, couldn't live without my 1round, 3/4 flat wash or 6 round brushes. Nokia 3 Smartphone, and my ipad mini for editing as strangely things go blurry if I edit on the phone.Other Interests: Big wide world, nature, unusual buildings.
# About me
I have always liked drawing and doodling, and decided to take a watercolour class a few years ago, which I attended until July 2018. I now get my painting inspiration from what I see around me and from the support of the wonderful artists in If you paint, traditionally or digital please do consider joining. A visit to a Comic Art Festival introduced me to fine liner to give more definition to my work and an appreciation for techniques in colour blocking.After my last mobile phone died in September 2017 i finally upgraded to a Nokia 3 Smartphone (my last was a brick without internet access, but much loved and I'm from a generation where a phone was...well just a phone! :) ) I've always liked Nokia phone cameras, and this one didn't disappoint, and with it being a smart phone the immediacy of being able to post has meant my gallery is now probably more photography as I enjoy being outdoors looking for bugs and flowers! I am still painting so there should be more appearing in my gallery as time goes by.

Hi MontyMouse, thanks for considering "The boulder sits..." was worth a fave
I'm still not sure whether that was a dramatic photograph with the crashing wave or
one of serenity imagining the background sound of the waves.
Maybe those argumentative birds push it towards the dramatic
