I actually used to play Super Smash Bros 64 online A LOT. I've always wanted to get into Super Smash Bros Melee but I never had a Gamecube so I played the game maybe 3 times prior to learning about roms. I'm nowhere near as good in SSBM as I am in SSB64 (due to it being WAY technical) but I do enjoy playing it. Brawl can burn in pit of fire, unfortunately. Lol!

and yes, Brawl is mess, lol. I'm very good at Brawl (mainly because I didn't start going to smash tournaments until late 2008) but by 2011 I just really got tired of it's BS, lol. Never got a lot of practice with 64, leaving Melee as my favorite.

Oh, interesting. That's kind of how it happened to me with Brawl. I just think the characters were a bit too floats-y and they got rid of a lot of advanced techniques; mainly guard canceling since I was coming straight from the SSB64 era. 

So, you've never heard of playing SSB64 online? What about Melee? I remember when I first heard about playing SSB64 online, I was so excited because I never actually had the game but whenever I would go to a friend's house to play it, I remember having such a good time playing it. It was actually through a couple of online buddies from Flash Flash Revolution that I heard about it. When I first got it and played online, I knew for certain that it was going to be lots of fun with Pokeballs flying everywhere. Not at all. Before you can even appreciate the start screen or even comprehend whats actually included in the menu, people would instantly hit start, go to versus, set to stock, set stock to 5, go to versus options, items and turn everything off and start the match all in 3 seconds flat. To make matters even worse, apparently playing as Kirby sets some people off and, as a result, they would destroy me as if I just sat my controller down. Everything was moving at 100 mph and I didn't know what to do. The things I witnessed those days made me really appreciate the SSB franchise in a sense of not only being extremely fun but also having such intricate mechanics, that it's (mainly Melee) arguably one of the most technical fighting games out currently. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I would just instantly kill myself after re-spawning in Melee due to it's daring speed. Gotta love it though.

Yeah, if you do a search for Project 64K or any other N64 emulator, I'm sure you'll find one that's online compatible and stable. Unfortunately I havn't kept tabs on the current popular emulators but the one I used to use is Project 64K (the "K" is important; it stands for Kaillera, which enables the emulator to play online). After that, just search for a Super Smash Bros 64 ROM. Download and you're good to go. :}

Wow interesting o.o. So did you actually play this emulator with the keyboard? lol. I was never good Key board gaming.

But even if I was, I doubt I'd get back into 64.. Melee is pretty much where it's at with me . I'm not sure if you've heard of Project M. But if you haven't www.youtube.com/user/ProjectMe… . A group of very talented guys modded Brawl to play almost exactly like Melee with upgrades. It's pretty neat and I've been hooked on it as of recent

Yes! Project M is the best thing that has happened to Brawl. I haven't played it since I don't have a Wii, however.

Yeah, I played on keyboard because I never was good at controlling analogue. >.< I play a good sum of fighting games and I just couldn't get the hang of tilting a stick for movement; doing quarter/half circle motions on a stick has always resulted in a jumping motion and I cannot stand that. I have Melee on my computer as well but I only play one other guy every blue moon or so. He owns me so hard but it's all fun. I still play on Keyboard, lol.
