me too. I wish I could still be into the books. I never finished the series when I was younger and now I just can't get into it. that and it gets to be too depressing after a while.

more like annoying for me. After a while the whole thing is just anticlimax, because you already know by the third page that everything is going to go wrong. It's wonderfully satirical though, some parts.

When I was little, I didn't like it because it kept on giving definitions for words I already knew, like garlic. I didn't seem to get that it was for comic effect; I was sort of proud (in an insolent type of way) of my vocabulary when I was ten.
