My goodness of course! This was an amazing piece and I am actually kind of flattered that you commented on the fact that I fav'd it. I was really wanting to comment on how beautiful your capture was, but I felt that everything I was going to say about the photo had already been stated in some way or another.
But here it is:
The reason I faved this was not only due to the fact that it is a beautifully color contrasting piece but, also the amount of effort you put into capturing it. You waited and waited for the right moment for him to walk in front of that door. And it payed off! You managed to capture a moment in time that will forevermore speak so much to people.
For me you have this ancient monk shuffling along the dirty broken streets, who from the looks of it is carrying so much weight. I can really picture a giant backpack of knowledge just strapped to his back. Knowledge of things in this world that we can not see or even comprehend. Knowledge of all the suffering. And here he is carrying it around.
And then you have the blue doors which so much resemble the sky and the ocean, and him a beautiful ray of sunshine shuffling along at his own pace.
You were very deserving of this DD

I am officially doing commissions everybody!!! $20 for a base sketch including 1 character, shading and background. Any additional characters will be $5. I also do paintings, if you want an Acrylic or Watercolor painting it will be $30. I am VERY awesome with Oil paints but they will be a little more expensive, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! So please note me if anyone is interested ^-^
