Hey you! Your right. Havn't been very active here for a year now But I still love photography! And I've upgraded my equipment with a Holga camera. Looking forward to be good at it, it's very difficult to shoot with film and very expensive

Uni is great! Not very much to doo other than reading, so I have lots of time to do what I want, like a long holiday

Other than that all Norwegians are still shocked by the terror attacks that struck us a week ago. I knew one who were killed, so it's still hard to beleive and understand, but alas, life goes on and we who are still here must do what we can to celebrate this beautiful life

Jeg har flyttet til Bergen for å studere film- og tv-produksjon, og her står det svært bra til! Liker meg kjempegodt, selv om det ser ut til at det akademiske liv kommer til å by på MYE arbeid.

Jeg er fortfarende i telemark, hvor jeg alltid har vært, bortsett fra når jeg var i Lofoten et år. Er på mitt siste år på allmenn, det er helt ok.

Liker du deg der du er? Studiet høres også interessant ut, er det så?

Ja, liker meg svært svært godt Vi skal nok gjøre mye gøy etter hvert, selv om det er en del grunnleggende nå i begynnelsen siden enkelte i studiegruppen aldri har rørt et kamera. Men det kommer seg nok Det eneste jeg bekymrer meg for, er filosofien. Vet det er viktige greier og sånt, men det er rimelig tørt stoff. Ikke så romantisk som man tror

Jeg blir nok fint nødt til å gjøre det samme, prblemet er vel bare det at geværet er maskindrevet og ved siden av blinken står der mange rare mennesker med hendene i været.

Vel, Bergen er et herlig sted. Mentaliteten er nokså lik Deres fra Lofoten; en mentalitet som å til å dø for. Jeg kunne ikke ha sagt det samme om forholdene som utarter seg her på østlandet. Eller hvordan opplever du det? Kanskje er jeg noe smalsynt siden min mor er fra nord og min far fra Bergen. Men jeg tror det er et faktum.

Hvordan er studentlivet der du befinner deg, er det anbefalende? Jeg bør kanskje starte å se meg rundt, kan hende er det, om ikke blinker, men andre ting å skyte på bak meg. Eller hva? Jeg vet ikke, antar at du vet dette. Eller?

Jeg er helt enig! Liker meg veldig godt, og kjenner igjen denne mentaliteten du nevner. Jeg vil anbefale byen på det varmeste, både som ren by og som scene for studenttilværelsen. Det er massevis av kreative ting å drive med også

Det varierer heg òg, tror ikke jeg har tatt noe spessielt med bilder på flere måneder, og jeg er ikke helt for det der å holde det ved like med å ta bilder hver dag; jeg liker heller å jobbe spontant når inspirasjonen er der, det pleier som regel å komme litt bilder ut av meg på høsten. Hvordan er det med deg?

Ja, det er sånn med meg også, både når det gjelder fotografering og skriving. Jeg klarer ikke å tvinge meg selv til å ta bilder eller skrive bare fordi jeg føler at jeg må. Da blir det ikke noe bra

Jeg ankommer den 10. Eller 11. Må bare synkronisere det med mammas venninne, som skal kjøre meg til Ikea og kjøpe en seng, slik at jeg slipper å tilbringe første natt i byen på gulvet

Skal bo på Danmarksplass, i Bjørnsonsgate. Har kommet inn på film- og tv-produksjon, hvilket jeg håpet på. Og jeg gleder meg sånn! Har aldri vært i Bergen

I've been to Berlin once, and liked it quite much. But that's maybe because of my BIG interest for WW2 and german politics from 1933 to 1989

ah ok i was gonna say, didnt look that big in the pictures but then maybe they only show the small parts

what am i hoping for grades wise? A*A*A*A but that isnt going to happen thats just a fantasy because i know its the best i could achieve.. i'd need to get 90% in all my exams and coursework to get that :-/ i need A*AA to get into cambridge, and if i dont get that BBB to get into Edinburgh :-/ i decided i couldnt turn down an offer from Cambridge since i'd probably regret it.. i'm just lucky that if i dont get the grades then my back up is quite possibly more awesome. and if i dont miss the grades.... well, i'll just tell myself i wouldnt like all the fish you eat in Norway and find a different way to go there

and you rock *high five* i love Cold War history and WW2 history, but more Cold War... i got so excited i was going to get to see the Berlin Wall my sister just thought i was weird...

Hm. I didn't understand that grade system But I can see the difference between the two universities. Our grades are 1 (lowest) and up to 6. My ending results was 5.2, which I'm quite happy with

Well, if you like modern history Berlin must be the perfect place to go to see the cold war with your own eyes. They have actually kept some of the differences between east and west Berlin, like the traffic lights which was special in a way, but I don't remember in what way

It's also fun to have a picture on hand of the «Germania model» Hitler made, and then walk down the street «Unter den Linden» to see how he wanted his new metropolis to look and how it looks today. And the Berlin Wall, of course, is the symbol of the cold war. A must to touch

Are you going to see the Olympia stadium from 1936? Very nazi. Built in solid stone and looks like a fortress, with huge clock towers around which looks like the guard towers from the concentration camps...

we apply to 5 unis, we get offers based on 3 grades (or rejections), we pick 2 - one is your "firm" choice which you have to go to if you meet the grade requirement, the other is your "insurance" which you go to if you dont get the grades for your firm (and if you miss the grades for your insurance then you.... do something else too complicated to explain). the grades are A* (this is new for my year, its 80% or above in every exam last year and 90% or above in every exam this year), A, B, C, D, E, U. A* obviously being the highest, U is a fail. i can get 4 grades because i did 4 subjects instead of 3... yeah. i think that explains it :-/ Cambridge is my firm, Edin is my insurance.. but well done! that's really good

oh wow, i'll keep my eyes open for the traffic lights we're actually staying in the East, so yeah. i'm hoping to see some true soviet style buildings and i'll have a go at that if i remember

im not entirely sure, we're only there for 4 days. we havnt decided exactly what we want to see... i want to go to the bauhaus museum and my sister wanted to go somewhere... atm im trusting her knowledge of berlin a bit. the stadium sounds interesting, but if its a bit far out of the centre we might not go. we'll see..

have you by any chance read "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak?

its set in nazi germany... that was the link. i don't really know your taste in books, but i think you'd like it. it kind of takes things from a slightly different perspective. its really difficult to describe... it really makes you love the characters though. i cried at the end... it kind of tells you what is going to happen at the beginning, but in a way that you have to read on, so the closer i got to the end the more you get to know the characters. i almost stopped reading so that it didnt happen
