I'm not sure if they can recover it... I've seen quite a few people lose their work here and it's never been recovered. Unless you have back-up files on your computer then thats ok.
If you inform the admins I have a feeling they'll just say it's your responsibility and leave it at that. Which is kinda mean since hackers can get their computer to calculate every possible password.
I hope you can recover what's lost.
