yeah... some times if its dry I dont like it but I do like poetry I just suck at writing it. So I got to complain to my english teacher's boss because she basically called me a liar and then made me feel stupid because she said that my use of the term family to describe a choir or band was idealistic when she has no idea what shes talking about.

not always, sometimes American students see the English as whiners, we do seem to have a addiction to dissapointment after all, well most do, lol
i certainly don't, i can see a reason to whine and beleive me i'd whine too were i in the same situation, it's natural and therefore good, plus the teacher has no idea you're quite right, i'd use the term family as a possible term for any number of people or any sort of group, after all, a group of people maybe doing the same thing or smaller things contributing to something larger is the workings of a family i think.
