Oh yeah. It's crazy since the area's a lot bigger than the Parkers/Alexandria area, but it's all good. I do miss home sometimes though. Nothing like the small town.

Meh I enjoyed Fargo/Moorhead it seemed to be a really nice couple of towns a lot of things to do, nothing like Alexandria where you can do just just a little bit - bowling, movies, cruising, uhm that would be it but yeah, heck now you live 2 hours from your home, take it this way: When I decided to study in the US and everythig got planned and set up I got on a plane, flew for almost 20 hours and then I got my butt to Minnesota...and it's been like on the other side of the planet than my home was, literally. Then you call it being homesick

Haha, yeah, I've traveled all of my life and been gone for like three months at a time sometimes and I didn't get homesick THEN, but I guess this is different.
And Fargo has like NOTHING to do compared to the twin cities... and it's so windy here! At least Alexandria has hills.

Yeah, when you know that you have to stay wherever you are even though home isn't that far away...and that you got to do all that cr*p such as cooking, cleaning, washin the clothes,...sux!
Well if you compare Fargo to Twin Cities it's a dust hole but compared to Alexandria it's pretty good I would say.

True... but I'd pick Alexandria any day just because I know more people there! And it's less windy. I don't mind Fargo at all when it's actually nice outside, though!

I see your point, I guess that Fargo had to seem to be a totally different place to you. So what made you to go to NDSU?

Most of my ancestors are from either Ireland, Germany, or France. However, I have some from all over the UK, Poland, and probably some of Scandinavia as far as I know. And I'm part Cherokee. Quite the mixture! Took a lot of research to find all of that out...
After I'm done with generals, I'm going for psychology... fun stuff...

wow, that really is quite a mixture, it would be hard to visit all those places Psychology isn't bad at all...it's part of one of my class and I actually enjoy it. I mean, I would never want to study it because I don't like it that much but it's interesting, helps with dealing with other people a lot
