Some of the fandoms I'm in are Star Trek, Mass Effect, The Humanx series, Invader Zim...

What's in common is that I have fan characters for all of those.

Star Trek is awesome! Do you like Star Wars, too? Or are you one of those people? Lol. 

Also are you into TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, or the new stuff like ENT, Discovery, and the movies? (I never really saw ENT and don't have CBS all access to watch Discovery, but I want to so badly!!! ;_; I also think the first and third movies are great of the new movies, but never saw the second because as my friend put it, it's a glorified revamp of Wrath of Khan, so there was no reason to see it.)

And I have fan characters for Star Trek, Animorphs, IZ and InuYasha, so you're not alone, lol.

Star Wars is OK, I guess. I'm much bigger on Trek.

The only series I've seen a real significant number of episodes of would probably be TNG and VOY. Going through ENT right now, too, and I'm caught up with Discovery.

The first episode has a different crew than the crew everyone knows and loves, but they were still ironing out the kinks.

He could always be sort of aligned with The Resisty.  

Sometimes characters--especially older characters--just need a bit of a redesign. 

Or a huge one, in Milliz's case. She was originally just a scientist, but she's come a long way. Same with Yverin, her bestie. X3
