Sorry, to throw this here, the thread closed. But I was just saying that "agnostic" does in fact refer to God or ultimate reality, rather than nothing in particular and you have to add a/theist to it. Hence "slightly".

I can't remember the original post, but I am aware that theist/atheist must be added to agnostic. Though, admittedly, it's something I don't always correct people on since I understand what people mean to say when they refer to themselves as agnostic.

I think I can see what you mean. Though, believing something is unknowable doesn't mean you have to add what you lean toward. :) (Smile)
