Yup, I do .) Hopefully I fill it with more art soon. But I don't upload here much often as I don't upload stuff that I am not at least 80% happy with as I know it would end up deleted very soon XD
I didn't know about your account either ^^

Thank you! I wish I was able to see my work like that. Lately I am hating 80% of what I create, but I guess that is kind of normal for artists. Our perception of what good art is grows quicker than our skills…

ehi there. Thanks for the recent fave
So, I enrolled in the course from mr. Bradley. I am already enjoying some preview stuff and the goodies and I already got some very interesting insights.
Can't wait for the actual course to begin. Thank you for pointing it out to me

I am so happy for that! You won’t regret it! Also joint he facebook group created for this art camp so you get the most of it. Even if you are not a fb user I would recommend to create an account even if only for the group access. You meet fellow artists and share your progress there. Noah also posts there information about upcoming critiques etc.
Hope to see you there, and if you do create a fb account, don’t be a stranger and add me among your friends ^^
Good luck with improving your art!

You are most welcome, I love R Giskard and R Daneel. Asimov's robot series are my number one books so I am always happy to see anything about those characters.
Also R Giskard's 'death' made me very sad though I had suspicion it will end that way right from the start.
I wanted to paint this scene too (as many other scenes from the books) but I was never satisfied with how it turned out. I will keep trying =3
Seriously, there should be more artwork of them.
Anyway, I thank you for drawing this. Seeing Asimov's characters drawn makes me happy.

Haha. I have to say that reading that scene, the end of the last book of the robot series, I was just... Waoh.
I was imaginating the old Giskard almost like an old television, you know : with display problems like snow screen, or flickering images...
Like something not very human and very mechanical, but with something of a soul, and this scene made me really sad.
I saw in my head how R. Giskard was dying : like an almost human soul in an obsolete mechanical body. I had to draw it.
And most of all, this scene was special to me : It was the last book of the "Foundation-Robots" cycle, 'cause I started with Foundation. I took the story by the end ^^. So for me it was the last book of the great "Asimovian Epic". I closed the book and said to myself : "well. It's over."
So don't thank me for drawing this : I felt like an obligation coming from the book ^^
And, yes, keep on trying painting this scene : Asimov's fans all have to give this scene the astronomical glory it deserves !

I see, this scene along with Baley saying final goodbye to Daneel are definitely among my most favorite moments. I remember reading it in a bus on my way from work and I remember feeling a bit awkward when tears started run down my cheeks.
It was so beautiful and sad at the same time watching both Daneel and Giskard developing 'soul' in Robots and Empire. The scene when they discussed Daneel's instinct to protect Giskard over Gladia when there was a gunfire and Daneel's confession that he was thinking about him as a human being and not a robot warmed my heart in a way I thought nothing could...
I started with Robot series and other robot stories from him. I didn't read Foundation yet. It is on my Must read list though.
Damn right we have to! I don't understand how little fanart of these characters there is. It is a shame...
