Well, it's at a big hotel and there's panels going on pretty much all day every day. You can check out the schedule for them a few weeks prior to going, though, so you know where to go and when XD
Otherwise, there's free rice, free pop, lots of cosplayers and general nerds running around. You can take pictures of people if you ask or even attend a photoshoot!
There's also a rave on Friday and Saturday night, a huge dealer's room and a cool artist alley, so you might wanna bring a good amount of money XD
I also advise going with friends, especially the first time. You get to know your barrings a lot quicker that way. But don't forget to make some new friends! A lot of people there are really cool and you'll for sure find people with your own interests :3
Getting a room there is nice, but not necessary. This past year was my first time staying in the hotel overnight and it really made things easier! XD
So, yeah, basically I run around, meet some new people, go to panels I like, cosplay, attend photoshoots, get lots of free rootbeer, spend all my money on stuff in the dealer's room and artist alley and attend the Saturday night rave :3
