Mostly just chilling, work starts up again on Monday so I'm making the most of it. I've done some work on a few Fanfiction projects and I've worked a bit on Seven Sins, Lore of Magic, and Steel Mill.

The art piece looks very good to my unskilled eyes.

Seven Sins is moving slowly, I've been focusing more on fleshing out the world rather than other areas. Steel Mill was supposed to be on the back burner but i got hit with some inspiration and couldn't help myself. Lore of Magic has been expanding slowly and steadily except for the actual magic part.

Okay, so it's a detective story with the cop trying to find out who the faceless Crime Lord "Il Propheta" is in the 1970s. Il Propheta also uses Magic cards to commit crimes. Not sure if playing cards or tarot cards but they allow him to fly (aka Gwen Tennyson with Mana Platforms), Teleport (aka Vexus), slice his enemies (think Gambit), use them as shields, and so forth. Trying to figure out how to make it a mystery.

Mystery is a tricky thing, and I'll admit it's not my strong suit, but you need to set things up just right so that it seems plausible.

It's a difficult balance; you need to set everything up so people can't solve it right away but at the same time you don't want to make it seem like stuff is coming out of nowhere.

It's not so much the set up that's the problem, it's the layout and progression. You need to have every single detail planed out before you can even think about starting. This is why I avoid writing mysteries.

Very good song and a very good setting, especially in the opening when it was showing the streets of Roanapur. The music captured the feeling of enjoyment one would have when walking the city if you weren't aware of how violent it was, almost made me feel like a tourist. The second half during the gunfight felt a little out of place but that's probably because I'm used to Black Lagoons more intense music than anything else.
