I feel like the middle school outcast all over again...
If I got upset or angry, boom! Punch or kick from a staff member to the chest or stomach, my own arms pulled across my throat nearly wrenched from the sockets, and then tossed into a closet...
One time a staff member stepped on my hand and then took his other leg and stomped down on that arm...left an imprint of his hiking boot on my arm for three weeks....
Then I'd be forced to stare at my forming bruises, and then told that (in staff's opinion), I didn't "behave well enough" and that was my "punishment"...
