No that's not a dumb question at all! People ask me that often. My pieces are actually a mixture of watercolour and marker. I don't have a lot of my stuff up because I can't find a working scanner...so you can really only see simple markerwork. The border is done in photoshop though

I'm a million years late, but thanks for the comment on my model.
I think we had something like 5 weeks to do a character model in that class (it's the second Maya class).
I go to AI - LA, by the way. How's the San Diego branch working out for you? I'm technically in animation, but I'm more in the game art side of things. I'm supposed to graduate around June next year and hopefully find a career making Flash games or something.
Yeah, for my portfolio project I'm actually doing a Flash game. Opposed to everyone else who is doing Unreal mods. I feel special...
