But I think the only time we ever remotely said the least to each other was somewhere on the pokemon board, like in the OPSC. Anywho, we seem to share an interest in fakemon. Nice to re-meet ya'.

Actually, a fire elephant sounds pretty interesting to me. I like the idea. Also, if you dont know how to make him look firey, put a red or orange carpet on his back or his head or something.
As for grass, thats always my problem. Its very hard thinking of something for a grass pokemon, and your right, a hummingbird is slightly lame. I'll get thinking for you, though. I'm always glad to help a friend.

SPUNDOOM (spinda evolution)
SKITTEN (skitty pre evolution)
SUPRALIO (swablu alternate evolution)
If you have the three normal type pokemon, spinda, swablu, and skitty as the first three pokemon in your party, travel to your home town. talk to the professor and he will alert you that the day care couple has discovered an egg. when you walk in the day care center, you will see an egg on the desk. talk to the day care lady, and she will tell you to ignore the egg, stutter, and then ask you which pokemon you want to leave. choose skitty, and she will find you worthy of the egg. you then hatch the egg to recieve SKITTEN. winning any contest with SKITTEN will be rewarded with two items. the TM frustration and the TM steel wing. attach TM frustration to your spinda and TM steel wing to your swablu. then, trade both these pokemon with their TMs still attatched. the swablu will evolve into SUPRALIO and the spinda will evolve into SPUNDOOM.

i was wondering if maybe you have any pokemon lineart laying arond that maybe i could test coloring in that style. i tried it with one of my own, but my linearts horrible.

Hmmm. Try using more muted colours for a start - Sugimori almost always uses greyish tones, not bright greens and blues.

thanks, i definately understand. meh, i finished a decent sketch of a pikachu and im going to the lineart now. it hard to get those lines straight nd not wooshy looking
when you do lineart, do you usually use quick strokes or slow lines?

I use the line tool because I find it very hard to draw freehand with a mouse.

ohhh gootcha. yeah the tablet aint too easy either, to tell you the truth. i guess the line art came out okay. a lot better than my previous ones.
