# About me

Hello, I'm Michael, a photographer from the small town of Scunthorpe, now living in Sheffield and studying at Sheffield Hallam University.

I got into photography, I guess, partly due to my mum constantly taking family photos. I obviously picked up on this at a fairly young age (Early-teens I'd say) but my interest only became a genuine hobby and aspiration in mid-2009 when I began my college course in Photography. I passed this course with a good grade and have now gone on to study photography at Sheffield Hallam University and having just finished my first year.

I have no set favourite genre and do like to try different stuff whenever possible, however I do seem to lean more towards documentary style images, often finding things or focusing on a certain subject and documenting them through my images.

If anybody would like to know anymore about me or my images, feel free to ask. :)
