A world in which sirens must lure a human being into the water and take their life in order to survive.

The world was quiet but for the gentle sound of waves brushing against the soft sand of the shore. As a breeze rippled the surface of the sea, the sunlight you had been observing fractured into pieces. When you blinked, the sky had turned red, the sun sinking deeper and deeper into the horizon.
As the sky began to darken, your coral lips curved, ever so slowly, into a knowing, evil smile.
The moment your lips parted, beautiful notes began to drift through the water, echoing across the vast, blue sea.
As if on cue, you heard a splash in the distance. You flicked your blood red tail, swimming gracefully over to the man who was sinking deeper and deeper into the sea, his limp arms still reaching hopelessly for the surface he couldn’t see.

You snuck quietly through the forest, making sure not to make a sound. You looked around, listening carefully. Finally, you heard a yell followed by a crashing sound. No doubt, he was here training again.
You followed the sound to a clearing in the woods, where Midoriya Izuku stood, panting from his efforts. He wiped his chin with his hand.
“Not good enough” he muttered under his breath.
You ducked down in the bushes so that he couldn’t see you as you admired him from a distance. Ever since the day you had met, you were fascinated by Midoriya’s drive and intelligence. But it was difficult to talk to him when he was always with Uraraka and Iida. Not to mention Bakugou, who challenged Midoriya and Todoroki every chance he got.
So this was the only place where the two of you could be alone, not that he knew you were there. But you didn’t mind. As long as you were this close in proximit All I Need (Kirishima Ayato x Reader)

You stood in the snow, letting out a breath of air. It was cold. You tilted your umbrella back, reaching out a hand to touch the falling snow.

“No” you said, placing your hand on top of his and lowering it to your cheek. You leaned your face against his hand and looked up at him affectionately. “I would wait for you forever, Ayato-kun.”
Ayato laughed, taking your hand. “I know, idiot. That’s why I can’t keep you waiting.”

Your bound hands trembled as Yamori’s voice echoed in your ears.
“Say...do you remember your little one-eyed friend, Kaneki-kun?” Yamori asked softly, tapping his pliers against his hand.
“N-no, I—”
“Oh, right, how could I forget?” Yamori tapped the pliers against his head, grinning insanely, “he’s not your friend. He’s your lover.” Yamori stepped forward, roughly grabbing your face.
“No, he—”
“Kaneki-kun...he hurt my pride...my kagune, and he deprived me of feasting on him!” Yamori snarled, tilting your chin upwards with his finger. You trembled at his touch, wishing nothing more than to get as far away as possible. “So now...I’ll hurt what’s most precious to him.”
