And whenever you get really into something, and really passionate about finishing the piece, they treat it like a piece of crap because from the photo to your paper you changed something to suit some kind of inner message... ... ... Haha, I'm actually sort of opposite. I don't want them constantly asking me what my pieces mean, cuz, 9 times out of 10, I'm just doing it for the lulz. But, when I mean for something to be intrinsically joyous (lulzy) and they take it too seriously or cast it aside (avec fire and brimstone), I do get pretty disappointed.

But, that's art school for you. :S

Yups, they can be pretty pretentious, especially when your school isn't known for art. The less art majors, the more entitled they become-- especially towards non-majors. And then all of the teachers turn into Nina Garcia dragons and obliterate your arts with their fiery explosions of disapproval. And then Jackson Pollock rises from his grave (which just so happens to be located behind your school) and he laughs at your misfortune, while lauding his own work and throwing paint at EVERYTHING-- including the brand new canvases you just bought, rendering them completely useless. And everything goes further down hill from there.

So, yes. Good thing you're done with college art. Yay. >_>

But it's worth the money. Around here it's super expensive to get any sort of animation training, in state or out of state. I'm having to teach myself and major in something else. :S

But srsly, though, they'll have a tough time finding teachers to do it, 'cuz all the Comm-Design oriented professors refuse to have anything to do with New Media because it "steals their students."
.. yeah, okay, that's a viable excuse. Whatever. We're not in Comm-Design for a reason, one of them being it's WAY TOO COMPETITIVE. Scroo that.

But like, UNT has to honor the degree for 16 years. Even if it's impossible to get the classes required to graduate with that major. So, we'll be stuck here, or we'll have to transfer.
