Haha don't mind me I was feeling grumpy! I find the concept of a 'god-given talent' a bit of a backhanded compliment because in my opinion it ignores the hard work artists put into developing their crafts.
Your gallery is really beautiful and I'm sure you have put a lot of time and effort into it!

I merely observe that someone who writes as much as you do should probably use a spell-check every now and again. Especially when you are submitting your work as a finished product.

Hi,
just wanted to stop by to say thanks for the advice, personally, I thought the piece was very good.
A real problem of mine is that I draw lightly ,so I use photoshop, which I'm downright rubbish at, to try and make it a bit darker. For some reason, the scanner took out a lot of her facial features, such as part of her nose and a few clusters of freckles. I'm a really novice artist & a bit young so...

I was genuinely trying to be helpful but to be honest I probably should have been a little more subtle. I'm very 'to the point' and tell people what (I think) they should hear as opposed to what they want to.
I like your work and think that it shows great potential. If you keep at it you'll grow in confidence and really have something you're proud of. Maybe you could give us a bit of colour sometime?

I know when I started out I had a tough time with my scanner~ Those things are killer to some arts OTL All your pieces are wonderful and you are talented for your age, don't let anyone make you feel ashamed of it
