Hey, before I click yes to be a moderator at GAWD, is it not a problem that I'm an illustrator, as opposed to a graphic designer, or web designer? I don't want to be out of my element or waste people's time!

I totally appreciate that and made that consideration before making the offer. I have been following you through the job forums and think that your message and education is well beyond any one particular niche in the design industry and certainly isn't a waste of time. Besides that, I have the unfortunate task of letting you know that your gig and film poster designs qualifies you as a graphic designer - your decoder ring is in the mail. Also, if you do decide to join and feel the group needs tweaking to fully represent the illustrative element of graphic design, I would be more than happy to oblige any thoughts or ideas you might have for improvement.
However, I respect any decision you make and would like to thank you for even taking the time to consider the offer.
