Don't see why they think that if you play re1 and 2 it pretty much says so in the games. Irons worked under umbrella, made STARS, Wesker also under umbrella was appointed captain, chose elite members to be the guinea pigs for combat data during the mansion incident. Thus through the chain umbrella created STARS.
Some people just dont pay attention to the underlying plots.

Well, partially correct, Mayor Warren started Bright Raccoon 21, a Redevelopment plan that had created the raccoon city hospital and assembled the stars (which actually arent RPD officers, only Kevin Dooley [Bravos pilot for the mansion incident] was police.) And almost all of the funding for the project came from umbrella. Props on that though, takes time to actually go through and read all the files

very lol. living in the middle of nowhere and propmaking has broke me of that, with NOTHING to do you tend to pay attention to all the finer details of things to kill time. Just glad to be moving back home to be in the city again though i do feel that ill still be picking out alot of finer details

D: we dont have tracks around here, its the one thing i missed the most. Back in MD i could just wander the rails for hours, youd come across cliffs, bridges, waterfalls, and all kinds of wierd animals. I swear i had followed a snapping turtle the size of a trash can lid for at least a half a mile. And i did also come across an abandoned train at one point. Sadly just freight and not an awesome passenger one.

That's alright, I'm really hate how Capcom has to dump out so much info every time they make a new RE game, they provided so much info and so many trailers for RE6 that it was almost pointless to play the game, and it looks like they're doing the same thing for Rev 2. Ugh. I'm trying to avoid as much as possible of all of it. I would like to go into an RE game completely oblivious to what I'm in store for like it used to be.

Right? Its why i havent been paying any attention to it all. Other than the percentage the Contagion game has been at. Im just looking forward to seeing if theres any items i can make new props out of. Im honestly more excited for the Re-Remake of 1 since its rumored that the controls have a second option to do away with the original "tank" controls. Really am looking forward to it, plus the screenshots of it are GORGEOUS.

yeah, you did pull of Ellie REALLY damn well. Ive actually been doing the same. I found my portfolio from 2010 and just was amazed at myself. Id stopped since then and had no idea why. So ive been working on getting back into all of that
