Never heard of that. I will look that up.
Have you seen Sally Mann's documentary? Its brilliant.
There is another one but I'm terrible with names so I can't remember the photographer or the title of the film but its a guy who ws with Magnum for a while and then he started to document people of the Deep South/Appalachia. Basically the deep woods mountain folk who are still some of the poorest people in the country and un educated and etc. He takes portraits of these people but he doesn't make them look poor or the like, just people.
Anyway he made this film about it and I will never forget it.
