I have a new computer ...Yay!!! Still have a lot to do. Most of my stuff still not moved to it. 

Nice to have something to keep my mind away from all the horror news out there...

You have a good memory but it was not a new one, just refurbished one.with my old hard disk and it was 32 bit as well. Now it is really new and amazing one

I'll keep the native one. no need for extra one, At least that's how it seems now.

I paid around 640 Euro for it. ( no preinstalled OS ) --- Windows free

I found this small local store and the owner is a nice trustworthy guy (our age+-).

He is a blessing for those of us who appreciate a professionalism & honesty.

He will not sell you something just for the heck of it. I'm so happy I found him the other time when my first

computer die on me and I needed a replacement fast because I was editing a book and had a deadline. He offered me

a reused one almost free. did the installation for me on the spot. I was so grateful and there for I also bought the new monitor that day.

This time I came for a new one although the old one is still working but not as good anymore.

I really thought the price is surprisingly  good.

Short story - happy me!

LOL... I think it will be open-box, BUT it will take time. first of all I want all my stuff to be moved from the old HD

Then, I will customize Ubuntu to my liking and ONLY then I might think about another DE (desktop environment)

I do feel really lucky indeed.
