hehe, i'm very picky about usernames~

i think what i liked about your poem (besides the fact that "phantoms" was in the title) was the way it started dark and ended up lighter, which isn't something you see a lot on deviantart. most poems on here are negative and depressing, but yours had some brightness to it~

this actually isn't my first account (i needed a vacation from the other one), but thank you for the welcome anyway! ^.^

Wow! Thanks for the feedback! I like happy endings so much that I couldn't just leave it as a sad scary poem. Well, congrats on the new account! ^_^ This is my only one and I've got some old stuff on it too if you'd like to check it out.

i'm not an expert on groups because up to now i've mostly ignored their existence, but here's how it works (i think): you click the button on the group page that says to join, and unless it's a really small group they'll accept you immediately because they're too lazy to "investigate" you or anything, and then there should be a spot that says "contribute art" where you can upload your deviations. this is where it gets tricky, because there are a lot of different categories you can submit your art to, but just mess around with it a little and you should be able to find a category that fits your work, then select what you want to submit and click the "submit" button. (if you're feeling confident in your work, you can try uploading to the "featured" category which is supposedly the top-notch best stuff.)

when you join a group, the thing you hope for is that other people in the group will notice your work because it's on display -- the problem is that the bigger the group is, the more likely that your work will get lost in the crowd. but i guess if you keep at it and join as many groups as possible, your work will be in so many places that you're bound to get some interest~

which group should you join? um, i have no idea which group is the best, but i think you could pick any of the ones i've joined and that'll get you started...(for what it's worth, on my other account i joined a group called "PagesofPoetry" and they always seemed nice, and i think i got a watcher or two because of it).
