# Interests
Favorite visual artist: I guess that would have to be Leonardo da Vinci since he was well rounded in art, science, math, mechanics, etc.Favorite movies: Depends on who I'm with and what they want to watch. If I'm with friends and want to laugh, a good comedy. If I'm with a girl and want to cuddle, a nice heart warming show. If I'm with a friend doing art, definitely a musical.
Favorite TV shows: Whatever is on - I don't usually watch tv. But a friend got me to watch all of How I Met Your mother, Frasier, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, 2 and a Half Men, and a bunch of other shows that I can't remember.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Whatever anyone else is listening to - I'm not particular.
Favorite books: I don't really read - so it would probably be some technical manual or research material.
Favorite writers: I don't know - maybe Samuel Johnson Jr.
Favorite games: I don't usually play games and don't have a favorite.
Favorite gaming platform: Probably a PC.
Tools of the Trade: A little bit of everything - pencil, pen, paint brush, paper, canvas, computer...
Other Interests: I probably have way too many interests to list here... computers, science, math, history, language, theoretical physics, mechanics, psychology, people watching (not in a weird way), humor, anything fun, popcorn, coffee, and bacon.
# About me
I was born and raised in Washington state where my personality and artwork have been strongly influenced by the regionβs flora, fauna, weather, technology, coffee and people. I briefly studied design and production art at Phoenix Institute of Technology, where I spent a lot of money but didnβt learn much; however, this provided the perfect venue for me to hone my artistic skills and techniques. I still enjoy trying new artistic techniques and media, just to keep me on the edge.Although I have visited, explored, and travelled through nearly all the states and providences in North America, I have only resided in a few states, including: Washington, Oregon, Connecticut, and Arizona. For a time, I made a living creating artwork, but during this period I learned that I really only enjoyed creating artwork as a hobby, instead of relying on producing what other people wanted in order to pay the bills.
The purpose of artwork, in my eyes, is to pick pieces of reality and imagination out the artistβs mind to put them into focus in such a way as to have one look a bit longer than usual in order to let it reach the consciousness, which is where everybody then makes something different out of it. I hope that others will admire these pieces of my reality and imagination with the result of it inspiring them to expand their horizons, try something new, do something crazy, and continue to improve themselves.

Hope I'm not too late to drop by and say thanks very much for the Watch and Llama. And for that matter, thanks for giving me the opportunity to discover you and your work. Not only am I loving the balance between Traditional and Degital mediums in your collection, but just the sheer creativity and overall exectution. Those 'Edge of the World' pieces in particular are stellar.
Have any Fantasy Book publishers sought you out to design the covers? I think they should.

It's never too late to say thanks!
I'm glad you enjoy the variety in my artwork - I'm always willing to try something new (even if it takes me a while to get something that looks good). I look at it as a challenge and always enjoy a challenge.
I particularly like how the "Edge of the world" pieces have turned out and enjoy the banter that I get with people telling me that isn't how physics works. Obviously, we all know the water would just flow off the edge, just like we all know that all the water would flow off the bottom of the globeΒ if it didn't freeze around the south pole.
I only do artwork to have fun (and occasionally to keep me out of trouble - doesn't always work), so haven't thought about designing covers for books. But no, I haven't had anyone seek me out to design book covers.
