Welcome to DA! look forward to see more of your works. Sometimes the biggest challenge when creating Art is one's own self-judgment. But to break that barrier and simply let what's inside be translated into paper, canvas, digital or any media and the self-satisfaction of seeing how your works can evolve, should be the main thing. Occasionally I get discouraged myself because I see the high level of other people's works and I feel that my own works are so far from the professional level of other deviants. But then again, I realize that the satisfaction of finishing another canvas or drawing is worth it and here and there you can also find inspiration from other people's work, and stick to your own goal of improving your own creations, free and true. Maybe it's around 5% skill/inspiration and 95% practice?? - Happy creating!

Thanks for the encouragement! I realize now that it's a process. I used to think people were born being able to pick up a pencil and draw beautifully. I would think to myself if I could draw like that I would draw/paint all the time. I never realized most people spent countless hours practicing to become that good. True maybe some people are "born with it" but I'm realizing more are just like myself and were "taught" art. So that's encouraging to me. Makes me feel like there's hope for me after all
