BTW: How do you like your camera? I've been shopping around and wanted to get some comsumer opinions (super-random, I know.

Thanks very much! I love my camera. As you can see I'm amateur photographer so I got this camera. Reason I say that is because of the auto feature on it. If you look at reviews for it, it's so user friendly a child can use it. <--- That's it's slogan. The D5000's auto feature is a point and shoot that makes even the most amateur photographer look like they know what they are doing. Now I do know what I'm doing, it's just I didn't have the money to get a higher end camera. This one still has the option to switch to manuel and allows the user to do whatever they want with the settings. It even has a nifty feature that when pressed, gives you a short description of what exactly each setting you are changing is actually doing to your picture. For a 12.1 MegaPixel camera, it's a fun and easy to use starter!
