# About me
Hello whoever ends up here. I'm a young person trying to draw! I just doodle stuff from Paw Patrol, The Lion King/Guard (mostly the latter), Warriors, etc on paper. When I'm secure enough to post something on here; hopefully I can learn a lot about art from this site. See ya!# Comments

I have to say, you provide great constructive criticism.

Oh thank you so much! Not only for even noticing my comment, but taking it nicely. Not only that, but complimenting! You encourage me to criticize me. Thank you again

No problem. The thing I like about the criticism you is that you not only provide compliments, but instead of just insulting the artist, you provide things they can do.

Hahaha, everybody deserves a chance. Even though insults can maybe wake the person up. It really does nothing especially when the person is young. It's really a case of treat people how you want to be treated. It took me YEARS to be decent. Just this year I learned about anatomy.

Yeah, the golden rule is that way to be. I still have trouble getting the muzzle right and trying to proportion everything is still hard.

It really is! Being mean is easy, and saying something like "kill ursef" is easy. Being nice, yet critical gets you farther and makes you a better person. I'm gonna write a journal on that. I thought your muzzle was decent. It's still good to work on it. Lion king muzzles are THE WORST for me. Second worst is dogs and dog like creatures.

Yeah, cat muzzles are really difficult along with human anatomy. Saying stuff like "kill yourself" provides no sense of help. Would the world really be better with them gone just because you didn't like something or the way they drew?

Human anatomy is too scary! As much fun trolling is, for people who actually want to

..draw and improve, it's really rude. It's the worst for young children. It's like the teacher splatting red ink all over their paper instead of pointing out questions that are right and wrong, and offering tips for them to do better. The only time I'd troll or be somewhat rude is to joke around, or if the person is truly terrible (not at drawing, but their character like HaiHai or if someone acts bitchy towards my critique) I know it isn't the best thing, but there are those people.. Even with them, I wouldn't promote them to commit suicide, troll comment or not. Cause that lil fuck might do it, and I don't want that blood on my hands.

Hello there, and welcome to DeviantART!
I hope you enjoy yourself here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask me

Oh hello there! Thanks for offer. Yes I do have questions.
1. How do you prevent smudge. It ruins everything
2. How do you get those emoticons that hug, nod, etc.
Thanks again for the help!

Not a problem! I'll be happy to help
1. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by smudge, do you refer to the quality of some pictures that are posted here? That may depend on the resolution of the image uploaded to DeviantART. Usually when a small file is submitted, especially when it's a .jpeg file, it will look smudgy and pixelated. For very crisp, detailed pictures, I suggest creating your works at a high resolution (over 300 dpi) and saving them as .png files before uploading them here.
2. As for the emoticons, you can get them at any time when you post a comment by clicking the "Add Media" button on the bottom left corner of the comment box. A slide will open, and on the right hand side, you can find all the available emoticons (you can view them all by clicking "Show All").
There are also some useful shortcuts for most of them, for example the nod emoticon requires you to type:
: nod :Β
without the spaces, and you'll get <- this lil fellla here
For the hug emoticon, same thing!
: hug : (without spaces) ->
I hope I helped!

Oooh thank you! By smudge, I meant from my eraser. I draw with paper and pencil. When I erase a mistake, sometimes it smudges the pencil from the eraser and it ruins everything! For when I do get into digital art, the first tip will really help. I'm glad you're using your time to help newbies like me out! I'll definitely check out your art.

Oh I see now! Thanks for clarifying! I feel your pain, I work with paper and pencil all the time, and smudges are really common sadly!
For those, I suggest working very lightly with your pencil, and if you need to erase, the best option is a kneaded eraser:Β www.google.it/search?q=kneadedβ¦
It looks and feels sort of like soft clay, but it's made of the same stuff that erasers are made of. When you erase with it, it leaves the paper incredibly clean, and reduces the smudges by a lot!
Aww not a problem, I'm really happy I can help! It's a pleasure to guide new artists through the site
And thank you so much! That's really nice of you!

Hahahaha, I should of clarified it in the first comment. Your art is spectacular. I just started on your comic "Africa". From page 1 to five in that folder, you've improved so much. I'll get myself a kneaded eraser. Thanks for the advice. You're not only a great artist, but a great person too!

No problems
And thank you so much! I'm really flattered that you like my art and comic, and that you saw improvement in my work! Thank you for the watch too, I truly appreciate it!
Sweet, I hope the kneaded eraser helps!
And that's really nice of you to say! I'm just really happy to be of help

Oh you're welcome! Your improvement is obvious, especially with anatomy. The leopards at first were a little chunky. I'm gonna get the eraser today. Hopefully it'll erase that giant smudge by my redraw of a hyena. Mostly because I want to submit to deviant art. I'm actually proud of it! Which is rare with my drawings.

I agree, those leopards used to look a little weird XD
And sweet, I hope the eraser helps you!
Ooo neat, I can't wait to see it!Β
