Your "Shimmer" is very nice, because it has, in my mind at least, a very surreal sort of feel to it. The words made me think about the meaning for a while.

It feels like a rebirth. I imagine there's this tree that I've been standing at for a long time, throughout all the problems, and there is the mentioned purification. The place I've been all this time had been decaying when I didn't even notice, and then when I see it all pure and mended, I'm amazed. I wonder, "Why did I never notice?" to the tree, but it tells me I'm not meant to know. Feels bright and new, but gloomy. It's that mixture of good and unavoidable sad I like. That poem strikes a bit of a balance in me.
