omg I'm so sorry, I came on today just to make sure everything was running smoothly here. I did get your email about the back of your book, but it was on my phone, and the layout was so junky I couldn't understand. I did notice that they used your real name, but I figured that was just a typo thing.
Anyways, I completely understand!! Rather, I hope I didn't inconvenience you by your waiting for me at all. Even if I did get busy all of a sudden, I still should have let you know. About the copy, you can do as you like. Like I said, I have the original, so I'm pretty indifferent to whether or not I get a physical one. It's up to you. :]

Yeah, I asked them if they would fix the typos and incorrect information in my description. They didn't so I made the changes myself. Besides, that the book is all set! I just have to order a proof and approve it and set up a page at the online store for it. I probably buy you a copy... they're only 2 bucks a piece.

I noticed something funny. If Michaela's name started with a G, the first letters of the Gearsmiths' family's names would spell "cog". A cog is a type of gear and gears are used to make clocks. Clock making is Oliver's profession. Ah! I originally was going to name her "Gretel" too.

lol Michaela is perfect. Gretel would've seemed a bit weird, I think, so everyone else's names are so normal, and Gretel seems a bit out of their culture.

Gretel is a german name, so, Yeah... I don't think it's fitting. Originally, the town they live in was going to be based on Newyork of 1929, but consider Oliver owns car, I left the actual setting undefined, My world building skills aren't the best.

It's difficult to build a whole new world. It's why I'm way into fantasy novels, and also why I try to keep my worlds as similar to real life as possible when I write. But it'll only get better with time, the more you write. No writer writes a best-seller the first time, after all, right? lol
