Hope you had fun at Katsucon 19, so have I (only for 1 day). But how unfortunate it was that we were unable to find and meet again. But I will only be able to attend one day (Friday) and then head back to NY after (will not be staying for a night, just gonna leave after! lol).

I heard from another cosplayer whom I knew since NYCC 2012 that on March there's going to be SpringFest, similar to any kind of comic-con that is to be held at NYU Poly! Think of going there as well? I am.
If you are as well, we could try planning out our cosplay group as well as for the Matsuri (depending on whether you could go or not)!
P.S.: But for the Katsucon, well I do know that by taking bus, it'll drop me off at Baltimore. Now just need to find a way to get all the way there to National Harbor though. >.<

Looks like I will not be able to join in the fun at Katsucon 2013 for 2 reasons.
1) College work
2) Too far range from NY
However, I am definitely going to Sakura Matsuri 2013, but not sure if Manganext is also possible. For the time being until I figure out, have fun with yours, fellow cosplayer.

Bad news! The I-Con 32/2013 for March has been postponed due to:
1) Financial difficulties
2) Struggle of restoration after Sandy and nor'easter
3) Change of convention size
Read it from that event's homepage as I was about to buy my ticket online until this news showed up. Hopefully they bring that event back online real soon.
P.S.: There's still a bright side though, which is planning out for the Sakura Matsuri 2013! (But of course, may depend on whether you might make it there or not)

Yea, it's all bullshit. They have a really shitty, immature, and petty staff. I don't believe it's financial issues at all or anything to do with Sandy.

Either for I-Con or Sakura Matsuri (or why not both?), there are some cosplay groups that we can try making while at those con/fest.
1) Marvel vs Capcom (all series, 1~3/Ultimate)
Others would be like crossovers on the other hand. From this provided link, I believe it might help to see which crossovers might work for these 2 cons. Some may work, others not likely (either by awkwardness or difficulty by costume, etc.), but we'll see.
