I began drawing before I could read. When I learned to write, I began telling stories with my pictures, illustrating every page of text. Before long, I began adding my own illustrations to published books. I attended John Brown University with a major in Illustration. As of 2013, my art has been exhibited in the Texarkana Four States Fair, the Cossatot Arts and Crafts Association (CACA) Art Show, the Nashville Elberta Arts Center, and is currently on display at the Gallery on the Square in Murfreesforo, AR. "Follow the Rails", won best of show in the Landscapes with Structure division as well as the People's Choice award at the CACA Art Show.My first love in art was horses and I still hold a fondness for them. However, my interests have broadened to incorporate the human figure, portraits, and landscapes, as well as anything that tells a story.
