Gibby, that comment by Sarah on your page is NOT Sarah. It's some kind of virus/hacker that's affected her account. DO NOT click on that link. You should probably hide the comment.

Me i just got done with my first semester of my senior year. Oh i took a photo class. I remeber a conversation we had a while ago and you were talking about apatures and shutter speeds and i had no idea what you were talking about. Well ne ways now i do. Well, each class has a certain number of credit hours. I need like, 120 to graduate (and of those 120, I do have a certain set of classes I have to take to graduate with the degree I want, though there are some electives and general eduaction (math science history) classes which make up something like 30 of those credit hours). A "full time"student is 12 credit hours per semester, and you can take a max of like, 17 or 18 without having to get special permission from an advisor. 17 credit hours is 5 classes. Most classes at the lower levels are three credit hours each, I have four of those, and one 4 credit hour course, and a one credit hour independent study with a geology professor.
Well they moved out when I did at the end of the year..I still see one of them on campus sometimes. This year I'm MUCH better off with my current roommates
haha! See once you understand those few concepts you can become a much better photographer and understand why your pictures turn out like they do.
Aww where is he?

Florida has three seasons, hot, cold and hurricane. It gets cold for a few days to a week at a time from about december till april. Last freeze is usually mid april. So it was below freezing here at night for three days then warm for three days then it was cold today it was moderate tomorrow ill be warm then give it a few days it'll get cold again...

I'm in Florida, Katrina mostly destroyed New Orleans. Florida, atleast the parts I've seen (from north central down to pretty far south) this last year or so, look just like normal. One hurricane about three or four years ago brought down a lot of trees in my town (Gainesville) and they were burning them for several months in these huge incenerating pits they built, but generally speaking we pick ourselves up quickly.
New Orleans is full of some of the scum who have no clue how to do anything life and rely on others to provide for them, which is exactly why they were so damaged by the hurricane. Furthermore, don't you think it's atleast a little bit foolish to live in a city that is below sea level? They are still picking things up but I think the media sensationalizes it a bit...

oh well thats good for the florida area. well the fact that u guys can pick urself back up.

ProjektionStudios In reply to sadie10181990 [2009-02-03 04:23:28 +0000 UTC]
I mean...it's like, some of it is at sea level, some is below, some is above. You don't have horrendous flooding from a hurricane if you are much above sea level, but pretty much a 1 or 2 foot rise in seas flooded most of the town...it's built in a marsh: they extended the sea walls downwards to like, 50 feet? And water still seeps up from under them cause the entire place is a freaking marsh! It's silly to build there in my opinion, and I don't feel it's right to victimize people who really have no common sense.
I do too, except I wish people would learn the lesson that New Orleans is not the best place to build!

hmm this is interesting and i total see your point in it and agree with it.
they should just all move and leave that place to be something else than their hopes and disires.

People can choose to live where they want, but I find it ridiculous for them to request FEDERAL aid. If they want to rebuild, they should pay for it.
What also shocked me was the incompetence of many of the people of New Orleans. Every so often, major storms happen. And when they do, people in their path on the coast know that storm surge will lead to flooding, so they get out. The people of New Orleans by and large relied on the government to save them, showing absolutely no personal responsibility at all.
5 minutes on Google shows that the lowest parts of New Orleans are 5 feet below sea level, and that's WITHOUT the hurricane...add 20 feet of storm surge...

well techinicly government did try to help by ordering and manditoy evacuation. i think it was rediculuse that people stayed weather they survived betsy or not. if your told to leave you should leave. i mean if you house is on fire are you gonna go sit in the livingroom and watch tv. dont think so. haha
and thats quit interesting. you learn something new every day.

Lots of fun to be had even above water.
The tube entrance, look for that orange ball. That is the Ear, I have spent hours decompressing on those logs in there. The circular hole thing up the run is the Eye, it connects to the ear. Cave runs kind of to the left of the steps then take a right turn towarsd the ear. Cave passage from there runs up river at a 45 degree angle or something like that int o the woods across the way.
I hope so too!

They have a map of the cave system in the store there too, it's pretty cool. I have a smaller version for personal use butive spent hours staring at that map when work was slow, planning dives I have made it off of the first half of the map on the wall there, and onto the second half which is on the stairs to the left when you walk in.
River is really dark right now but you dont really have anything to worry about in the water, except mullet, and they are tasty
