# About me
Grüß Gott! You have landed on the page of a rather odd student of History, German and Latin.I have a rather strong interest in these fields of course, and so use this interest as much as I can in my art. I’m incredibly interested in Medieval German/mittelhochdeutsch lyric poetry and Minnesang. Currently making a comic as to the adventures of a small race of fox-people in the setting of old Austria (ish. But also a little taken from here-and-there-about-the-place), the main characters being a student and a cavalry officer-come-Minnesänger, and writing a wee bit of poetry to boot.
Skald-songs, good beer, love and foxes, with a bit of horseriding and fencing thrown in - 'tis simple really. But I‘ll be happy so long as I have my custard creams and a good bit of German/Polish literature.
And Hopkins, for after all, glory be to God for dappled things, and lettin‘ me draw 'em.
A mighty broken bio, but oh well.

In my opinion i do not understand how anyone who is pro gay rights can be anti-incest. After all according to lgbt activists the only thing that is important between partners is consent, and if two adults who are related consent, how is that your problem?

One thing I do agree with you in is that south tyrol shouldn't be Italian. It should be Austrian as the people there are Austrian. Now I personally believe that though I am not a nazi, Austria should be part of a greater german state. Not Switzerland though their German is so strange I do not even consider it German, I prefer to call it switzerlandish!

Austria's historical background is far too complex for it to become part of Germany. The people, I believe, for the majority, for so long as the memory of the Anschluß is alive, and the cultural divide present, would take great offence at the concept of becoming German territory again. The two may share similarities, however they have far more significant differences. Bismarck didn't even want to include it in the Kaiserreich. The South Tirol is a different story; in my opinion, since the histories tie in more closely, as well as language, South Tirol is more Austrian. However, I doubt it will be ceded to Austria.
Also, both Germany and Austria have enough problems on their plates for them even to consider the idea of a union - the idea is quite absurd. If Bavaria even has such a different culture to the rest of Germany, how on Earth would Austria fare?
also Swiss German is a language/dialect of its own, as are the many kinds of German within Germany and Austria.

the fact that germany even still has filthy catholics is a sign that prussia was not as strong as it could have been. Germany should have rid itself of papist scum long ago. But hey Prussia ain't too bad at the very least they are better than that weak wanna be state known as the holy roman empire. What a scam, held germany back. Imagine if they would have united and created a colonial empire. Maybe then German would be more of a world language, but no they had to pretend to be roman for 1000 years and get nothing done.

I'm sorry, what? Of course everyone must have their own opinion, but your knowledge of German History appears incredibly shallow. At the time of the height of the Holy Roman Empire, "Roman" was considered worldwide, given the lack of geographical understanding at the time. Also, I don't see what Catholicism has to do with this. Prussia was, after the reformation and multiple events at least, primarily Protestant, while the Southerly German states were Catholic. Your argument here shows lack of understanding and appreciation of the timeframe of German History. One could argue that the presence of German states in the Holy Roman Empire encouraged the idea of a Germanic National spirit (though the HRE was not only comprised of German states and kingdoms), which, after the fall of the HRE, proved invaluable in the formation of the Deutsches Kaiserreich.
Also please stop posting this kind of controversial stuff on my page. It takes a while to either destroy with an argument or just by flagging it, and especially with this particular one, I felt the need to just reply to it outright. A risky move, insulting Catholics on the page of someone who goes to Catholic services.
