Jobs are escapist little buggers right now. It seems to come down to experience and who has it but, even then, it's like getting blood from a stone. Where are you looking for jobs? What sector?

Nah, it's just a mild case of AS so it doesn't affect that much but my Mum had always suspected I was on the spectrum with showing mild traits such as trouble communicating and missing my cues in conversations, slightly odd mentality, naive mindset, putting thoughts into words, over explaining things (This actually showed in my dissertation draft which I got picked up on) and recently a few meltdowns but they seemed to have stopped for now.
Thanks on the 3D art, I just started learning about this thing called Blender Cycles which actually makes things look so much more realistic that Blender alone. I'll post more up as soon get better at it

Lol. I'm looking in the Biology sector in companies around Edinburgh and in the usual places like Totaljobs, jobsite, s1jobs, reed... just to name a few lol. I also look for any other jobs I can do too but I either need experience or I just don't suit the job description. I even tried volunteering for unpaid work just to get some form of experience but even then I was unsuccessful... Grrrr.... lol

That's good to hear at least and it sounds like you've got a handle on it, which is great. Forgive me, but it seems that a lot of creative people have so called "problems" or "disorders" like AS (as an example). It's to the point that I'm starting to think of them as "things" rather than issues, so it's good that you're tackling it. I'm glad I don't have to do a dissertation but a creative project instead though, if I'm honest!
Yeah, it's really hard to find any experience. Maybe try volunteering with any charity group in your sector? They might be more "yes, yes we WOULD like help!" if you catch my drift! Though everyone seems to say "thanks but no thanks", which is difficult. I think most places just want free labour now!
