Are you asking about the character, or about Pathfinder Society (PFS)?
I added more text in the description under the pic, as he's done more in game. This seriously needs an update, though.
PFS is a worldwide organised gaming campaign, that allows anyone from anywhere to drop into a game, at a game store, a convention, online, or home game, and know that their character (PC) is compatible.
All the scenarios take place in the same world, and graded for specific character levels. As long as 'your' PC hasn't played it before, you can team up with others who also haven't played, and go on that adventure.
In your alternate timeline, you and your teammates are the ones who did that mission.
