I did sleep! I slept more than I revised! That probably explains the crappy grades I got lol. My predictions shouldn't have lowered though - and my plan of not revising for physics and revision 100% for biology worked because now I'm predicted A* in both hehe that pissed off my physics teacher though lol
And it's a good thing we've not started chemistry because my teachers have predicted me an A in chemistry but I fluked all of year 9/10's chemistry papers, so I'm probably gonna get a D in chemistry rip

Well for us we were told  that this year most of the a levels could now only be taken as two year courses rather than one (so you can't drop them after the first year and get an AS, you just wouldn't get anything), with the exception of a few that the government hadn't gotten around to like maths and photography. But those would also be only A2 for the people after us. yeah idk the government doesn't seem to know how to run education :/

Yeah I asked my History teacher - that's how it is; I really dislike the government

Oh but I fluked my English test and got a 9 (that's 1 higher than A*, so A** XD)

Well Maths isn't really that much harder; there's a few new topics like probability from Venn Diagrams & quadratic sequences but still simple XP
There's also two calculator papers now, adn one non-calculator, but that's good for me because I always ace the calculator ones but flop the non-calculators haha

And, for me, Science is the same (I'm not sure if that's because I started GCSE science in year 9, or if the changes to science are starting in 2018), the only difference is that I need to do all science tests at the end of Year 11; I wasn't able to do core in year 9, additional last year & triple this year because you're not allowed to anymore



But English yeah they've made it impossible.
Let me just go over all the books/plays/poems I need to have pretty much memorised for the English tests (we don't even get a clean copy of them):
   - Jelyll & Hyde
   - Romeo and Juliet
   - DNA
   - All 15 poems from the anthology
And to make things even more difficult, there are only like 2 practice papers on the AQA website, because it's the first time that this test is being done so there's no past papers. (:

So yea for English I'm basically fucked unless I fluke it again xD
(although my teacher doesn't think it was a fluke lmao)


And yeah, about the levels, my not-so-high-achieving friend keeps saying that he's gonna fail on purpose so that he gets a 1, and that way he can tell people that 1 is the highest. xD
although that's completely defeated by the fact that the only people who look at your GCSE grades are colleges & colleges do know the new grading system haha


Oh you're doing Physics A-Level right? How are you finding it? I want to do it but my brother (who never did Physics) says that in his college (he went to a private college in the top of the league tables) says that even the smartest people were struggling with Physics. So now I'm too scared to pick it T_T

I do physics and so far its not that bad. Actually maths and physics seem to give way less homework than the other subjects (although that could mean that they expect us to do more of our own stuff which hopefully not because I'd prefer not to) and biology seems to get quite a bit. Maybe it doesn't seem that hard to me because I really like the topics, but my friends who took all three sciences and maths is dropping chemistry, so :/ 
well tbh ofc its going to be difficult bc its AL but they're all going to be difficult so you might as well take the ones you're interested in Maybe take a look through a textbook to get an idea of what you'll be doing, or look at some past papers. idk.

lol but I've already forgotten all of Core science xD
At the end of last year for our summer exams, we were given core tests as well as additional (they didn't tell us about the core ones until like a day before the test though ¬.¬)  and I got an A in physics and a B in biology & Chemistry.

So yeah by the end of this year, I will have completely forgotten core unless I revise throughout the year

Which I'm gonna try to do but I know I'm gonna flop

I think I'll just youtube AS level Physics & start from the beginning and see how difficult it seems xD

The teacher gave everyone a 1 week extension for business yisssssssssssss
