# About me
Hey there!I've been an art lover for as long as I can remember, and have always showed interest in art galleries since I was a little kid. I am pretty open to all art forms, be they photography, sculptures or comics.
However, my favourite artwork is definitely the most eccentric and outlandish. f it's phantasmagorical, discombobulating (look at me using BIG words) or just plain weird, I could probably find some way of staring at it for at least three milleniums. There have been times when I have seen something that literally pinned my feet to the floor in awe-filled geekiness.
Now I'm not going to deny it, I'm a bit strange myself, and have, to tell the truth, always wanted to become one of those far-out artisty types who just sort of give up their worldly possessions, travel to distant countries on the roof of a train and then live out their days smoking pipes and creating masterpieces. If you've read this far, you've probably already figured that out, though I'm really just a normal fantasising teenager who wants to find some sort of crazy path to go down. Live life to the full and all that jazz.
So as well as being an art nerd, I seem to have developed an interest in manga. I couldn't really help it, one minute I was reading the odd Naruto or Furuba chapter, the next my fingers don't seem capable of drawing much else <3 I love the culture it represents though, all the little touches manga artists add to their drawings (like the "Cruciform" or Chibi).
I'm also pretty interested in comics, especially superheroes, though I really need educating on the subject so if you know any good comics (not necessarily manga) you think I might like, please leave a comment in the comment box or whatever it's called on this site. It's all thanks to MCR (the FABULOUS KILLJOYS!), my epically geeky best friends, and Kick-Ass, the most awesome film ever by the way ;)
As you can probably see by my drawings, I love colour (specifically RAINBOWS!) and surreality, because I think that they make life much more cheerful! Have you ever tried wearing a different colour of the rainbow for every day of the week, or trying to wear 13 shades of purple at once, or maybe going into college/uni one day dressed as a cat? The people you meet give you the weirdest looks, but it can hype up a boring day like nothing else :D It's all about the REALLY pointless things in life. They're the best ones :3 So long as you know your abilities and strengths and whether you're the grass or fire type...just like Pokemon :D:D:D
The reason I made a DeviantArt is because I would really like to see what other people think of my drawings, since at some point in my life I want to go off and be the artisty type, maybe as an illustrator of children's books. So please tell me what you think of my drawings, though they probably aren't nearly as good as some of the awesome stuff I've seen on this site... I'm open to constructive criticism though :D
I'm not sure why I insist on writing such an elaborate description here, but I guess I'd like to start off my DeviantArt page with a bang, etcetera etcetera please insert suckup here, but it's been fun. If you've got to this point in my little essay, you are either some sort of alien who believes that I could possibly be an accurate example of a "normal human," a besotted lover, or just have very little else to do :) Whichever you are, I have no opposition to Martians as long as they are genuine people, and I am flattered.
