# About me
I am going to entering into the arena of epublishing. I am working on a couple of items to use as tests in those markets. I hope to have them up soon, but have given myself a "no more excuses" deadline of December 31, 2011 to have the first one uploaded on Kindle (amazon.com).To assist this emergence, I have started a blog (www.randirogue.blogspot.com). I welcome all who may be interested in my writings and other happenings in my life to stop on by there.

I am, though, alas, our beloved kitty of 17 years (saw him born), is no longer, as of 4th of July. You probably know it's a big American holiday, and it will plague me with memory of Amber's passing every year until my own, I'm sure.
Other than that... I passed a major turning point in my recovery. I'm off the medicine, won't need a check-up for it for 6 months, and am not scheduled for another MRI for a year.

I am sooooo achy and tired. Spent the weekend helping backstage and with the hospitality (feeding the crew, management, and band members) for an outdoor music festival put on by the center where my husband works as a theater tech. (I've written an adapted musical--script, lyrics, melodies--with my husband--who wrote, performed and recorded the music--that was performed at this center.)
Anyway, I got word Friday night that the head of hospitality was overwhelmed and needed some assistance. So, Saturday, I trekked myself up there with my hubby at 9 am. Worked my assets off for the (thankfully grateful) members of 'Survivor' (has the song "Eye of the Tiger") and 'Three Dog Night' (has the song "Jeremiah was a Bulldog' and others well known that I'm too lazy to list at the moment), as well as crew and staff and assistants connected to the entire production. Had a grand time, really... but was way beyond tired by the time Three Dog Night left (at 1 am) and we still had to at least wrap up the perishables from the dressing rooms, green room, and other eating area.
Was funny though, when a buxom blonde that was busting out of her top and her friends broke through the security to race past to the dressing rooms for Surivor.
Sunday, there was only two orchestras playing at the festival. Well, an orchestra and a symphony. We didn't have to feed all of them (thank gawd!), so after doing a quick lunch set up (we had to get rid of all that food the bands has INSISTED be available for them, which they did not hardly touch--if they touched it at all) and cleaning up after everything from the whole event, I went and watched the orchestra and symphony, helped out back stage whenever they needed an extra hand... and because of a cold snap, we got to get out of there early.
Early, meaning left after ten pm.
Now, I'm trying to catch up on the absurd amount of emails I got while I was gone two days.
55 emails !?!?! (and these aren't counting the spam) I don't get that normally. What the freaking heck!?! People come out of lurkdom just to taunt me while I was away?
Hehe.
At least I have plenty to fill up my week while by body recovers from this (over) workout.
