I am double major of Industrial Design (my primary) and Graphic Design at Southern Illinois University. I enjoy sculpture, printmaking, drawing (mostly figure) and photography when/if I have spare time. You're a vinyl junky? That's awesome! I collect vinyl of artists I like and just got my Classics IV 45 of "Traces" signed by the band when they performed at the Georgetown Fair. I've been getting newer releases here and there when I find a good deal, especially when they're colored vinyl because it entrances me.

I also like colored vinyl, though all I have is a pink, Pink Floyd. its pretty cool.
There is a place in Springfield called Recycled Records, I went there in march, you should check that out if you're ever there.They have some pretty neat things.

Before Dennis Yost passed away, he selected Tom Garrett to take his place due to his own failing health after his brain trauma. They're actually working on a new album right now.
I have some friends in Springfield, so I'll have to check out that record store next time I'm over there.

You don't like your drawing? Have you seen mine? (not as good as yours) Of course, I have a very different style, but I'm envious of the skill you possess in proportion with faces. I just can't do it well.
I love your drawings and paintings in black and white. That's my preferred color scheme because it emphasizes the details which otherwise can be lost in color overload.
There is no such thing as art that is "not good enough." Always remember that.

well, it can vary day to day, drawing to drawing. my bio (which is in need of an update)was written at around 6:30am so that had a lot to do with the mood because I had been up all night drawing like a madwoman.haha
I'm to critical of myself, something I'm trying to work on.
a friend encouraged me to join the Danville art league, which I did, and it has made me come out of my art shell a heck of a lot more.
Also,I definitely agree with you about Black&white showing details.
