LOL XD Don't worry, it's tentacle therapist, not tentacle the rapist. Tentacle because she likes eldritch horrors (and squiddles, which are these cute little cartoony squid things), and therapist because she likes psychoanalyzing people. Hussie chose the name precisely for that reaction though.
And as for John, pranks and the like run in the family, so he likes to think of himself as a pro magician/trickster. Hence the magic chest.
