# About me
Well hello, fancy seeing you here! Thanks for visiting my gallery - I hope you enjoy your stay. I'm just your average uni student and DeviantArt is one of my favourite ways to procrastinate. At the moment, I'm working on a comic, 'Shapes', inspired by Egyptian Mythology, which you can see by clicking on that snazzy widget over there <------ :DOther ways I like to procrastinate are by playing video games and listening to a lot of synth and house music, and thinking up humorous names for all the pets I would like to have just as soon as I can afford to feed them. The best scenario I've come up with so far is a standard poodle called Karl Barx. I think he would feel like a sir.

Of course that's fine! May I ask how you like make your comics? Do you draw allΒ
the panels on one page? Or do you make them all come together in a program?

Rascavan In reply to SunTinged [2014-01-15 23:29:15 +0000 UTC]
Hey hun! Sorry it's taken so long to reply, I've been crazy busy - I usually make all the panels together in the same file - what I do first is script the page and decide what's going to be happening in each panel, then I'll divide the page up into panels using black lines on a separate layer. This will be the top layer, and I'll use layers underneath to build up the sketches, then add lines, then colour

Hi! Sorry for the super late reply, I've been busy with job applications. I'm pretty good thanks, just moved home after three years at uni so it's a bit of a culture shock, but looking forward to hopefully finding a job soon. How are you?

Hi Ellie
Loads Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, just loads.
I love the PlayStation brand since I first played the PS1.
What games do u like?

I love the PlayStation brand too - I think I was about 6 when I first started playing the PS1.
My favourites are Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Okami, though I haven't really played any of the newer Crash and Spyro games, just the originals and a couple of later ones. More recently I've been playing a lot of Oblivion, though I've still got most of the main quest to do.
I've got a huge stack of games waiting to be played now I finally have time. I'm also really looking forward to The Last of Us

I like a lot of different things really. My favourite films are King Kong (the 2005 one) and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I love animated films, I also like weird comedies, Japanese films like Battle Royale (though I haven't seen many to be fair), and fantasy and sci-fi, and a bit of action cinema sometimes. I just finished writing a dissertation on Sucker Punch (2011).
So yeah, quite a lot of things really! How about you?

Rascavan In reply to djpj411 [2013-05-15 14:22:01 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I did hear about it - I am looking forward, but I have a few reservations, the usual stuff about how well will a game transfer to a film and will it do the game justice. I think if it's done properly, it will be very, very good. Judging from the trailer, it seems as though the team are working hard on it and have the characters down really well, so I have high hopes
Are you looking forward to it?

I am so looking forward to it, especially that Sony and Insomniac are working with the project.
I like how Rainmaker Entertainment are making the film, as they ReBoot back in the 90s
What type of music do you like?

Actually I have got a pretty busy weekend planned - I have a Tae Kwon Do grading on Saturday and then a sparring tournament on Sunday. I haven't competed at a competition before so I'm expecting to get my butt kicked haha
How about you?

djpj411 In reply to Rascavan [2013-05-17 19:22:48 +0000 UTC]
Not much really
You're so cool to learn Tae Kwon Do, Is it difficult.
What's is sparring?

Rascavan In reply to djpj411 [2013-05-18 18:58:25 +0000 UTC]
Haha thanks it's not so bad once you get your head round it. Sparring is basically fighting - you get points for landing hits and lose points for things like stepping out of the ring and using excessive contact. I haven't been to a proper tournament before so it should be an interesting experience
