# About me

At 60 years old I can honestly say I've been around the block a few times. I lived through the 60's and 70's and enjoyed every minute of it. I hitchhiked across the country and back and met so many wonderful people and some not so nice ones. I grew up with boats and planes as a kid even though we never seemed to have any money. I worked on sports fishing boats as a teen and managed to catch myself a 650 lb. black sea bass among other astounding types of fish. I'll admit to doing a lot of recreational drugs back in the day but I guess that kind of shaped who I am today. I grew up in Southern California where I met lots of celebrities, partied with some, didn't care for others. I've been single most of my adult life which has afforded me the choices to do the things I want and go the places I have been. Right now I am living just outside of a little podunk town in Tennessee. It's quite a culture shock coming from the Seattle area but it's not without it's charm. The differences are subtle but you really do need a passport to come down here...lol. I have my sights set on moving back to the west coast. I miss my family but I have learned so much about my ancestry living here. Seems my kinfolk were from these parts. I still have some exploring to do here before I head back west. One thing on my bucket list is to visit Nutbush City...home of Tina Turner, where "25 is the speed limit, motorcycles not allowed in it". I'd just kick myself if I left here with out getting my picture taken standing by the Nutbush City Limits sign. Never had money to speak of but my life has been very fulfilling. No complaints here.
