Thank you! I feel so bad that I haven't updated in so long. But with everyone commenting via ff.net and here I'm going to have to get myself in gear and post more. At least post the finished and updated first chapter.

what i liked best about your story was that is was kinda weird and random in the beginning than things got serious and started falling into place...

okay, you know how everybody swears a lot? to be honest it's not really necesary... i mean in some situations it makes sense, but most of the rest of the time its not very realistic...

I've always wondered what people thought about all that to be truthful. I'll definitely think about it more in future chapters. Honestly, thank you for pointing it out. And thank you for getting me thinking.

Wren and Rachel are only around 19 and sadly I modeled their habits after mine just a bit too much. I was horrible at that age for swearing and I still am. But where I can't really censor myself in real life (I swear that little switch that controls that part of my brain is broken!) I will watch it more in my writing.

I've been dying for years for someone to offer suggestions and critiques of this story. I started it in 10th grade if I remember right. It's been ages and I now feel old. *sighs* Rachel was actually a friend of mine during that time and she'd offer help and suggestions then we had a huge falling out. After that I didn't have anyone to really talk about it with.

I've been writing over 8 years. It's been off and on and I've been writing on other stories as well. Some I've posted, others I haven't.

And oh goodness, I believe it's been updated a lot after that. Maybe 12 Chapters? Oh goodness..... lol Chapter 21 is slowly, ever so slowly being written.

I've been horrible at finishing the updates with the revamping of the first story. It's all revamped, just not updated. lol I even have a contest within the updated chapters.

And I've slowly come to terms with what happened with Rachel.

I've come to the terms of our friendship can't be fixed. It sadly happens.

And I'm like you. I have all these stories in my head and I only just started writing them a while ago as well. lol I really wanted the speech to text programs so I could just say them out loud and go back to fix them later. lol It would have been awesome.

And honestly, I think Abduction started out during my freshman year. My best friend/brother would listen as I told stories while on the bus ride. We had over an hour sometimes to get to our school. It was fun beyond belief and he really got me wanting to write things down.

I think it's completely awesome that you had a fan character!

her name is Inspector Kye... she's a hybrid between and alien and a human... she was sent after a criminal who stowed away on Bez... the criminal was an alien that can change into other forms.

Ok, now that would be an awesome side story. What alien would it be? The criminal would probably be able to block Bez since he's psychic. Wren would be too busy with everything else and would have to have someone take care of it.

Pretty much. A beta reads your work before you post it and they are like an editor. They also help with ideas if you're stuck.

And all my characters are accidents of one sort or another. I was trying to draw Wren a couple weeks ago and came up with a whole new character. She's adorable.
