Ayup, I'm a sculpture major at SJSU. I started out by taking absolutely every metalsmithing class offered at the local JC, then after transferring I took Advanced Metalsmithing twice before the instructor's hatred of skilled & talented students drove me off (as well as a number of classmates). I'm hoping to scrape together a home lab somehow this summer; even so, I'm glad I'm not limited to silver. I get jewelry design ideas for a huge range of media, even stationary sculpture.
I'm glad you like! I've been trying to hunt down & Friend other jewellers here, but they have proven elusive thus far, apart from those with high school jewelry classes. Very much looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
