HELLO THERE, Ms Wilder !!! Here I am at last!
...all is well on my end of the internet; I have had my attentions on musical projects, having inherited a house band gig from a friend of mine who has moved from Alaska to Spokane, WA. The job has been to restructure my Rock band into a "Great American Somgbook" combo to assume the weekend stage at a Hotel here in downtown Kodiak, so I have been writing charts and rehearsing the musicians for this long-term gig. We play everything from Sinatra to Jimmy Buffett, Ella Fitzgerald to The Jefferson Airplane, Tony Bennett to Nora Jones, jazz standards to cowboy swing. My Dream Band!!!
...Also, I have been working frequently with an advertising firm in California doing commercial art projects for their clients (none of which--with the exception of my last DA post, "Roller Guy"---is worth sharing with anyone on DA). So I have been doing a bit of commercial art after hours when my guitar lessons are done for the day.
...all of which has made me AWOL from DeviantArt for quite a while. But I DO want to THANK YOU for noticing and for your concern; I'm happy and (reasonably) healthy and livin' the good life. I will make it a point to visit your Gallery and catch up on all that I have missed, and will resume posting on DA when I have something of quality to add to my collection....
