You're welcome! I follow a rule that I think most people probably do: I take what I like and leave the rest for those who enjoy what I don't. I do like superheroines in peril, primarily sexual peril and looking vulnerable in bondage rather than straight up pain or torture. My comics can get pretty violent. But I try to be creative and outlandish with it. I guess I am fascinated by the neurological link between sex and violence. It can be shocking for some people, and not enough for others. One thing I came to realize reading comics growing up, the villains who are straight up psychopaths in the books, treat the heroes rather tamely. They'll kill an entire neighborhood of people without blinking, but heroes get the kid gloves treatment an are put in peril where they can easily escape relatively unharmed. In reality superpowered  abominations would treat heroines much more brutally and abuse them just the same, because that's what psychos do. I've taken a lot of inspiration from different types of Japanese hentai mixed with the brutality found in the evening news and have mashed up superheroine peril with just about every type of debauchery found therein. I find it interesting that society relishes in ultra violence but cringes away at the mere mention of sexuality. We're such a contradictory species. We believe life is sacred and abhor and fear death and violence but celebrate death and vilify the act of creating life.

I agree about us being a contradictory species, as you said. I know I am contradictory in some ways. I am only in this for a fantasy about superheroine peril and not a realistic portrayal. I am not criticizing, just explaining.

I can get "real" torture in the evening news and don't want to treat it as part of my "entertainment." It is pure tragedy to me. I only want a fantasy of sexual peril and forced pleasure.

I am not saying that other people are wrong, just that I enjoy some images of bondage and sexual peril but not pain or torture because then for me it is back to being like "real" stories that are to me only horrible acts of violence against women that I will not ever look at as entertainment.

We are all different though, and to each their own. There is room enough for all of us here. *smiles*

I didn't think you were being critical. Just having a dialogue about the genre. I think it is a more interesting and exciting avenue to explore when the evil is more sadistically real. Personally I think the superheroine's eventual victory is much more exciting and triumphal when the adversity and pain endured are greater in scope. Then the heroine must claw her way back to the top, in the vein of "Kill Bill", "Sexy Magical Girl Ai" or even the "Death of Superman". Where the titular character is so decimated that the reader is all like "Wow, no one can come back from that."

I do agree that triumphing over sadistic evil is very satisfying and victorious. My perspective tends to be less about these stories being realistic, epic tales of triumph over evil and more about them being a collection of scenes of erotic fantasy sexual peril being satisfied on the way to eventual victory for the heroines.

It seems there are enough people who enjoy one or the other or both of these perspectives that we can all find an audience. *smiles*

Thanks. Yeah, her compliment of powers and regenerative ability make for the most interesting peril possibilities. The up and coming issues and story lines should prove to be even more perilous. Her most recent battle against Darkseid was a defeat more brutal than her defeat at the claws of the kryptonian slayer from "Demonic Bloodsport", and Luthor's dungeon in "Agents of Oblivion" Hope you continue to enjoy my brand of brutal heroine peril.

I still think it's funny that I can put a knife into an abdomen or a bomb in the mouth with lots of gory detail. But if I put a penis in a vagina everyone freaks. I can leave out the sexual aspect. But the premise of this particular series is Sex and violence. I have started on the last story arch, Countdown to Oblivion which promises to live up to this. Good thing Patreon lets me do whatever I want.
