Greetings, everyone! Welcome to my page! My name's Russianskipper74, or Skipper for short. Drawing is a favorite pastime of mine, along with writing, foreign language, violin, and others. Submarines are my hobby, along with the before mentioned subjects. I am obviously not a professional artist, but aspire to someday draw well and create comics and graphic novels. I am a Christian, which means that I place my hope, trust and future in the hands of my savior, Jesus Christ, who came, died, and rose again, that whoever places their faith in Him and believe, they will be saved and forgiven for all that they have done wrong, and will be with Christ forever in Heaven.

Hello! I'm just a random artist passing by and I just wanna say that I think it's cool that you're Russian. :) (Smile) I have an OC who's Russian and I felt the need to say hi. ^^

I also believe in Jesus Christ too. We Christians are awesome. :D (Big Grin)

Hello Eternal-Apprentice, thanks for stopping by. To tell the truth, I'm not actually from Russia. I am a writer who is working on a novel with a Russian protagonist that takes places in the Soviet Union. I love studying the Russian language, culture, and history. I am self-taught in the Russian language and speak it with a low-intermediate proficiency. I love watching Russian films and even own an 80-year-old balalaika from Moscow. But I can't lie... I guess you could say I'm a Russian-wanna-be. :( (Sad)

It's great to hear from someone else with a Russian character! Sometimes it feels like people are always portraying Russians as bad guys, but a nation's corrupt government doesn't reflect the people on the individual level.

It's always great to hear from another Christian! Jesus Christ is so wonderful! I probably wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for Him. Only the Hope God gave us can keep the most emotionally torn individual from giving up on life, even when it seems that all is lost.

Exactly! The government doesn't reflect the people (unless you live in the US, in which most of the time we get hoodwinked into electing the wrong people. T^T)
